catching up

Oh my dear readers, we have so much catching up to do. I am horribly behind in blogging. For the last two weeks, the B's have been deeply involved in teaching Glow Bug to nap regularly. This has been a very consuming project but we are well on our way to having a regular nap schedule and an even more focused and pleasant Astrid.

Other news...Astrid had her first big girl bath (see previous post) and is well on her way to full crawling mobility. As of now, she can get anywhere she wants by doing "the worm" - which is progression of the bunny hop. As soon as she figures out how to move those tootsie roll arms, she'll be crawling in earnest. Aye de mi!

What else is new? Steevie and I celebrated fifteen years together, NINE of wedded bliss. Good, bad, ugly Astrid is stuck with us. Happily, I'm starting to feel like a normal, functioning non-hunchbacked yogini. Carrying a 20 pound baby makes you almost as strong as chaturanga. We are getting out to take walks more often nowadays. She loves being in the bjorn. She sneezes a lot.

Today's walk wasn't quite as scenic as the walk we had over the weekend. We went to Cliff Caves.
